Yes I’m still around.

Originally I was working on a large tailgate related post and wanted to keep focus on that for awhile so I didn’t do some of my usual posts, but then it just became a time issue. I’m hoping to use the holidays next week to catch up on posting pics from all the football and basketball games I’ve collected.

It’s a great time to be a KNIGHT right now in both football and basketball!

If you are a YouTube member you may want to subscribe to UCFAA’s videos. Hopefully we’ll see many great highlights from the remainder of the basketball season! I think this is a great idea on UCF’s part to make this happen. The right video could get a lot of play and it’s all free marketing!

Got an email from someone at KnightOutfitters.com this weekend. They are a new online merchandise store selling officially licensed UCF apparel. I’m not affiliated with them in any way but wanted to point it out because I think the more companies and choices we have for UCF apparel the better. You’ll see their link on the right column under Apparel along with the other great online store UCFShirts.com, home of the infamous & banned K. Smith is my homeboy t-shirt!

UCF Merchandise Selling Well

According to a recent press release from The Collegiate Licensing Company UCF is the 51st best selling college in university athletic apparel. No doubt the change in logos and the new facilities helped out in sales. Either way the number is pretty impressive when you consider we are in the top 5 for all non-BCS schools.

Also worth nothing that we are 14 spots higher than our good friends at USF which came in at 65.

You gotta like that

Well last month I posted about how I received a record number of page views in September. Shockingly that number was actually surpassed in October! Thanks to all those that follow this site!!! Here are the site stats for the month of October 2007:

It’s not really sports related, but the St Pete Times about how UCF is setting the standard for student life in the state of Florida with all the new facilities. It’s a great read, and really makes me wish I was back in college right now, well almost.

UCF finds its amenities are academic

So take THAT USF!
