Tough loss to Houston, here are some pics & videos

Very exciting basketball game, Houston’s McKiver just couldn’t miss on any of his 3′s towards the end which made winning this game very difficult. Hopefully the fans and players will bounce back because we’ve got a much improved Marshall team coming to town on Wednesday before we go play the #1 team in the land at Memphis.
Here are some pics and two quick videos showing the crowd and atmosphere. Oh and as you will see we got a “sign” into the game! Woot…

Oh well though, hopefully we will pick it up and finish our season strong. We have the talent, we just lack our defence off the board. Houston got waaay too many second and even third chance shots.

Made it into the arena for the last 16 seconds, great crowd, tough loss!
Yeah we’d get a big stop and they’d be there for the offensive rebound and they seemed to always score on their second chance.
However we did spend some time out there with 4 GUARDS and one power forward so we were playing some small ball there. I think at one point we had MOD, Chip, Battle, and Young at the same time. It just feels like we are one player away from winning a lot of these games…
We played one of the best conference teams down to the wire despite all of our injuries. There is always a chance to make a run in the CUSA tournament just like we used to do in the A-Sun.
We lost to these teams last year too…schedule looks muck easier (minus Mem) for the remainder. Lets push to finish with
Good point on how we lost to these teams last year. After Memphis I think the schedule does get a bit easier, but not sure how much. We still will have to play Houston again but this time at their place. Plus Tulane will be tough, as will games at Tulsa and Marshall who has been playing very tough at home (they beat UAB)
