I’m one excited Knight…I’ll be out at beautiful Memory Mall between 7 - 7:30am busting out some pancakes as we get ready to take on Tulsa for the conference championship. BE LOUD, BE PROUD KNIGHTS!
I’ll post pics and videos either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.
And don’t forget about UCF playing @ USF in basketball at 7pm!

This is the championship game “spot” on the official C-USA site. Great stuff…

Good article from Mike Bianchi today in the Orlando Sentinel about how regardless of all the coaching jobs that have opened up this week, that UCF fans don’t have to worry about King George jumping ship. I agree completely, and was never worried because I think George is very happy to retire here with all we have going on right now…but still good to have someone in the media say it for recruiting, etc.
Here’s a link to the article: O’Leary isn’t going anywhere
On a related note, I’m still SHOCKED that USM fired Jeff Bower. Wow, that’s silliness if you ask me…
As you may know I’ve been following how Kevin Smith’s been treated on the CBS Heisman Hopefuls list. He was getting some great play coming into the USF game, but after that he dropped down to the “Others” list and then slowly made his way back up. Now he’s getting some serious love from the CBSSports.com Experts, as he is now in 6th place in the overall consensus list.
I think this shows that if Kevin has a great game on national TV this weekend and UCF wins, that we has at least a chance of getting the NY invite for top 5. That would be huge. Of course as Kevin would say all that matters this weekend is that UCF wins!
This weekend was a first for me. The first time I can ever remember going to live UCF sporting events FOUR days in a row. I’m exhausted now, the voice is gone, but I’m a happy man. Here are my thoughts, pics, and some videos from the extended weekend.

Once again Kevin, Kyle, George, and Dr. Hitt are happy and in the dancing mood after winning the C-USA East and playing for the championship game Dec 1st. Don’t take my word, see yourself!
Holiday cheer from the UCF Knights
Pics and videos from a wonderful day at Bright House will be up by Sunday night. As will some pics from the Old Spice tourney, which by the way don’t forget that we play Penn St at 11am on Sunday! BE THERE!
GO KNIGHTS! Thanks to all our players for a magical regular season!
A very simple equation for Turkey Day 2007.

a
Kirk plus Turkey Day equals a GOLDEN Happy Thanksgiving!
Hope to see many Knight fans out at the Old Spice Classic Tonight at 7pm as the Knights take on #19 Villanova! For those that can’t make it be sure to tune into ESPN2 to watch the game.
Happy Thanksgiving to all!

And that should make any college football fan almost shed a tear. This is the last game of the regular season, and boy oh boy what a season it has been.
