What a great road trip this was, the Knights are doing what it takes this year and we are loving every minute of it. My uncle Scott and cousins Renny & Roby joined me on this trip to Greenville, NC- the first driving trip we’ve done since 2001. It was nice to drive like old times instead of fly for a change, and it was extra nice to come home with a victory!

I think going to ECU is a no brainer, great campus with total community support, nice fans, and the drive wasn’t bad at all- we’ll be back in 2007. The good news is that UCF won once again at home and is now 3-0 in the Citrus Bowl- beating Tulane 34-24. The bad news is because of Wilma, UCF had to reschedule the game for Friday night so with people working and the fact that it poured rain from 4 to 6:30 we weren’t able to do our standard big tailgate.

We still had fun though huddling together under the tents in the rain, and whenever I go home with a WIN, I’m not complaining! I took a few pics of the puddles, but nothing great- I’ll post them later.

Remember that this Friday night is MidKnight Madness for the basketball team! However, this year it won’t happen at midnight as the NCAA is allowing teams to start practicing at 9pm this year so what UCF is doing is pairing it up with a woman’s volleyball game.

So woman’s volleyball takes on Rice in the arena at 7pm and immediately following is the midknight madness events for basketball. Cost is $4 for adults, $2 for children.

What can you say, UCF is playing some great ball and it feels great for all us diehard fans that didn’t jump ship during the hard times. We had another great tailgate to start the day off, and the rain stayed away- although the humidity didn’t! Overall it was another GREAT day to be a KNIGHT!!!
